And the Onitsha, Warri and Calabar port that will help the country in no small measure is still been played politics with because of the 'put them down policy' against the Igbo? No wahala.

Until we as a country learn to do first things first, there won't be any meaningful development in this 'geographical expression'. But one thing I know for sure is if we fail to address injustice early and keep sweeping them under the carpet, our geographical expression' will be filled with "mess" one blessed day undecided

WHY IS THE NORTHERN LEADERSHIP KILLING THE WARRI SEAPORT.

They create DRY PORT IN KADUNA and now Baro seaport in Niger state.

They can not cheat nature as the Baro seaport will still have to survive on the support from the coastal seaport in Warri, Bayelsa and Rivers seaport.
Up PDP.

When Jonathan was in power it was the north that stifled the development of the Niger Delta.

It was the north that got Ibori arrested in UK.

What was the Igbos doing during the last administration? How come they could not drive the Onitsha port project?

I want to believe this is some form of humour........
I do not see where the North stiffled the development of the ND. The way and manner the amnesty programme and NDM was managed is just a clue to the ND lack of developmental sense.
Ibori was sold out by the ND and the north has no tangible role to play in his arrest.

Shùt the hell up!!!
Atiku's INTELS has been the concessionaire of the ports in delta and Rivers. He has looted the money accusing from operations at these ports. INTELS promised to upgrade the ports almost a decade ago based on the concession agreement. Nothing has been done.
Thank God Farida (NPA) reviewed that nonsense 419 concession with INTELS.
The same person (Atiku) is the one you people (SS/SE) want to vote for. You guys don't know who your real enemies are. Honestly!

I can bet with my balls that this is just political gimick, how navigable is the river from the open sea up to Baro?,onitsha port is even more viable n had been constructed to an advance level but for political sentiments buhari will not see it,bythe way how many importers are there up north?,has anyone ever seen any vessel sailing up to Baro?,of course to the Zombies this calls for fanfare but after just 6months the story will take a different turn.

Ones is in the north the project gets the necessary funding and completed instantly.
They are still searching for oil in the north, maybe if they succeed then the so called one Nigeria will be a forgotten story.
yesterday some people went to Ogoni land to hand over polluted area to certain company and one of the buses they left port Harcourt with was set on fire by the youths on the excuse that they were not carried along. Pls if you are invited tomorrow to join a team going to Ogoni for similar project won't you have double mind?
