On Thursday, Presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku took a swipe at President Buhari, saying the President was fighting the opposition, not corruption.

“We find this excuse untenable because the President has not shown this level of restraint when condemning the alleged corruption of others who happen not to be members of his party, the APC,” he said in the statement, which Paul Ibe issued on his behalf.

“Quite strangely, President Buhari, however, did not allow Ganduje’s pending court case stop him from praising his crony, the Kano governor when he went to Paris in November of last year.

He also tackled the President for “defending” Babachir Lawal, sacked Secretary to Government of the Federation, SGF.

Buhari was only focusing on fighting corrupt persons outside his political camp while he had turned a blind eye to those perpetrating corruption around him.

If buhari really wants to tackle corruption, let him recruit for EFCC na.
