He is Airforce but was head of all Military as Chief of Defence

The Army is a branch of the Military.

Moderators should always research and edit headings as the forum should tend towards accuracy, education and effective delivery.

The Defence Headquarters has announced the date for the burial of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh (rtd).

PoliticsNGR gathered that the Acting Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General John Agim, made the announcement in a statement on Friday.

Activities lined-up for the interment of the former defence chief will begin on Sunday with the Service of Songs scheduled to hold at the Nigerian Air Force Base Protestant Church in Abuja.

This would be followed by a church service expected to hold at the same venue on Wednesday next week.

Badeh would be laid to rest later in the afternoon at the National Military Cemetery in the nation’s capital.

Protect a thief and dishonourable officer who stole money meant for the fight against terror and the NAF only to fall victim to the insecurity the monies he stole were meant to address. I still feel very deeply for servicemen and women dying daily because ALEX Badeh stole money meant to properly equip them. I’m yin the hope he repented before he breathed his last. Our thieving public servants and politicians should take dressing from his ignominious end! His family is away in the US on the run from the law which is calling them to account for the stolen monies ostensibly in their custody.#generationofabacha
