It was a shutdown in Jos, Plateau State as the Presidential flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, President Muhammadu Buhari arrived on Saturday, 19th January,2019 in continuation of his campaign tour.

President Buhari and other National Party Executives where received by an overwhelming crowed at the Jos Township Stadium, venue of the rally.

The Crowd outnumbered security expectations, leading to destruction of the sound equipment. Despite all efforts to calm the crowd down, President Buhari could not address the crowd and had to leave the venue of the rally.

The President has campaigned in some states of the federation but the overwhelming reception on his visit to Plateau was beyond what has been seen in previous states.
