Yes, and for your information, history is the science of studying ancient texts. I see you keep quoting the same Wikipedia. Well I can now see the limits of your intelligence. So much for your father's super training.

junk,trash,rubbish of the highest order.
what type of rubbish are you saying.

our different Edo attires were they made by you,
our different bronze, ivory, and metal work were they made by you

the dukedom of the enogies were the developed by you.

the ogboni,Arejih, were they developed by you.
you talk of buildings and arts, common the Europeans sought after our arts,
the only thing you guys could offer them aside from foodstuff were your badagry slaves.

you should have stayed mute instead of coming here to spew poo.

Name your garment and weave and its stylings please.

Name the art style in your bronze and metal works, name the art style in your carvings as well.

The dukedom were Chiefdoms installed by the Ogieso proxy rulers. If you dispute this give history of the beginning of your dukedom pre-Ogiso era.

Ogboni is not EDO. If it was we would find it equally in all sub-cultures you claim falsely to have settled. Ogboni is foreign to EDOland. If you dispute give us a structure of Ogboni in relation to Ogiso, the rulers before Oba dynasty.

Europeans did not seek EDO, you had nothing to offer the world. They sought Benin, a foreign ruling dynasty over you. Beside, once Europeans discovered the source of Benin art to be IFE, their interest and focus shifted.

Defend your claims intelligently and cut out the cheap solicitation for likes & shares.

Where do you stand?! What do you mean by "even if they did not" after already saying they did have their foundation in Yoruba cult. Why the confusion.

I spoke English. Let me rephrase in a way you will catch it.

I did not buy that shoe because of its price, but even if I had the money to afford the price I still wont buy it for poor quality.

It means I have different reasons I wont buy the shoe and they are listed in order of prevailing circumstance.

This is English. Relate the above illustration with my earlier statement. Do you still have problem with its comprehension?

As I have said severally, the maps, (they are more than 5) are available right here on nairaland. To get them, one only needs to type "Gallica" on nairaland research. I will not post the maps at your command. I have indicated where they are, all you need to do is go and get them rather than needlessly asking me to post them. I posted them more than 30 times already, at some point in my life I have to stop or else I would be posting these maps all my life. I seriously hope you have enough braincells to understand this, but I think you don't
I do not care about what you say. All I want is, bring out the so called map n indicate those states. Not unintelligent rant. Proof that you have a functioning brain cell.

My point still came out open for all to see with the # bolded.

And how did you come about "Yoruba's were slaves who were freed in the Americas". Slaves to who and freed by who and when?! Can you elucidate. A question to you just like I just finished asking someone how Judaism, Islam, Christianity have their roots in Yoruba cults of which you quickly answered that it all about superiority complex. WHAT ARE YOUR EVIDENCE TO YOUR OWN CLAIM.
He will never answer you, the guy is a compound fool.

Any way HISTORY means his own story, HIS-STORY. Thank you for your time. Perhaps Wikipedia ought to be banned for being a hood of misinformation.

Then I still find the following on Wikipedia to be so true.

"The first recorded repatriation of African people from Brazil to what is now Nigeria was a government-lead deportation in 1835 in the aftermath of a Yoruba and Hausa led rebellion in the city of Salvador known as the Malê Revolt.[2] After the rebellion, the Brazilian government fearful of further insurrection allowed freed or manumitted Africans the option to return home or keep paying an exorbitant tax to the government.[3] A few Africans who were free and had saved some money were able to return to Africa as a result of the tough conditions, taxation, racism and homesickness. In 1851, 60 Mina Africans to put together $4,000 to charter a vehicle for Badagry.[3]

After slavery was abolished in Cuba and Brazil in 1886 and 1888 respectively, further migration to Lagos continued. Many of the returnees chose to return to Nigeria for cultural, missionary and economic reasons. Many of them descended from the Yoruba. In Lagos, they were given the watery terrains of Popo Aguda as their settlement. By the 1880s, they comprised about 9% of the population of Lagos. Towards the end of 1920, the migration stopped.

Though, coastal Lagos was the preferred destination, most of the returnees were descendants of groups such as Ijeshas, Oyos, Ijebu and Egba based in the interior. The Agudas were aware of their home cities but preferred to set up shop in Lagos because it was conducive for trade, they were warmly received in Badagry and also because of on-going wars in the interior. A ship with Agudas docking in Badagry can be welcomed by crowds of children hailing them as they disembark from the ship.[4] In some cases, the Oba gave them land to build a house and provided men to assist them in their transition to local life.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam, all had their foundation in Yoruba cult. Even if they did not, this is a festivity for the culture ifyou cannot say Happy Osoosi Day, or Happy Obatala Day,then keep quiet, please!

"Even if they did not...." Is a statement that puts your earlier assertion which was stated so categorically as a FACT that they "all had their foundation in Yoruba cult" into a Limbo. Meaning you are not EVEN sure of your earlier assertion if they really had their foundation in Yoruba cults if you can still be thinking otherwise.

Thats my understanding sir since the first statement is a controversial one which gives a room to state that THEY DID NOT.

yoruba refer to any king as Oba becauce the word Oba means king. literally 'he who dominates'
Oba has no meaning in Benin, as i have read the title od the Oba of Benin is actually 'Omo n'Oba' meaning Child of the Oba, and the Oba here is Oranmiyan, a Yoruba man, because it was Oranmiyan who brought the Oba title to Benin
are you from Edo state,if not then stop saying stuff like this.

the word Oba means Emperor,
I have already explained this in my previous post,it was invented by a Benin crowned Prince upon the Ascension of his throne.this was made known to us by the daughter of Oba Akenzua in one of her books,
you are only just assuming.
the title,Omo n'Oba literally means son of the Emperor which is the Obas late father.

the Yoruba's don't know the essence of the Title of Oba that's why they give it to just any king.I have stated this countless times.

Judaism, Christianity, Islam came out of Yoruba cults, Yoruba sacredness should be acknowledged. For those who do not share in the belief, a simple greeting of goodwill should suffice on days Yoruba celebrates its cullts.

Do you see any conflict in the above? But it is exactly same construction as before.

Unless your garment and its stylings have relevance of history with Europe I would suggest you stop throwing Europe in every response. Your land should be able to stand on its own without Europe. Correct?

What is name of your garment and its weave style? This is a test of your civilization.

every ethnic nation knows what their attires and designs are called and named.

MetaPhysical is right..

Again there is no tribe called edo, they are called bini. the 'tribes' living in the state called edo are ethnic nations and not 'tribes' and they all have their ethnic designs and clothes.
the fact that i don't know it doesn't mean anything,I would have easily googled it out or asked people, but I just wanted to be honest.

and Mr you are not an Edo man so stop saying rubbish,
both Esan an Edo people refer to the land called Bini by outsiders as "Edo"
most natives don't recognize it as Benin
just the same way Edo people call Lagos,Eko.
