A coalition of these young presidential candidates at this point would be a good idea to have governance from a different perspective |

buharitill2023: So president Trump will not debate during the next election. Becus he is the defending champion? I dislike Buhari supporters, they are intellectually low. God knows that I will forever condemn what Atiku did.. But the number one stupid person is Buhari who failed to show up.. Anyways, I knew he wouldn't show up based on that live programme he appeared on. He bleeped up there and his handlers wouldn't want us to see more of his weakness.. Buhari is a total waste. He can't even be allowed to speak in developed countries during their election. |

Whereas I'm not too comfortable with Atiku's eventual decision to back out of the Presidential Debate, I hereby express my disappointment in that a great population of Nigeria ain't ready for the very truth. Jonathan debated in 2015, but he was voted out. Why? Buhari did not debate in 2015, but he won the election. Why? Fanaticism is really a clog in the wheel of good change and development in Nigeria. We have become so fanatical about political parties, Religions, Tribes/Ethnicity, even money and personal interests that we have all lost the virtue to discern. While I may be wrong, I think Atiku is ready to change some things for good. Atiku has been positioned to prepare the ground for who could possibly salvage Nigeria. If we can tell ourselves the truth, Nigeria has a COMPLEX political landscape that it takes much more than grammar to win a position. Atiku has the WILL. He has the SAGACITY. He has the STRUCTURE. We know that....yes we know. We also know those other three who did participate can not wrest power from the incumbent.....of course, the possibility is on the negative side of the divide. Had Atiku given in to the spirit of humility to partake, we all wouldn't see anything good in and about Atiku by the time they finished with him, whereas he (Atiku) has got a lot to reposition. If the incumbent loses it in the end, it would be sending a strong positive message which will be a step forward in getting it right again. Let's do away with sentiments, but move to build a future that generations now after will be proud of. Atiku may be a better option now. Thanks |

handie:quiet sir! No reasonable person will debate if pmb didn’t come! Why u so comfortable with pmb not showing up? Atiku was there to debate!! He should stand with oby and debate what? The same oby that was pmb house girl on the fake overrated chibok scam? Pmb should have been dere to debate so that APC brainwashed fans would also see the blunders! Atiku gains nothing debating when only neutral people and pdp fans will watch! Don’t quote! Read, if u have to quote me, just read it again and have sense He’s also said, if pmb is ready he should fix a date and time |

handie: My friend don't talk as if you don't know the difference between debating and party manifesto. The debate was for personal ideas contest against the opponent's ideas and logic. While manifesto is to showcase your plans/intentions to the electorate. So, since the defending champion didn't show up, there's no need for Atiku to debate cos from the look of things, he and Buhari are the major contestants. |

neyobills:you’re the biggest fool I’ve ever seen, how would you compare such to a royal rumble! This is not a fight between two individuals it’s each person will sell themselves to Nigerians, if the other refuses to show up why don’t you use that opportunity to sell yourself to the entire Nigeria but you said you went but didn’t say anything because Bihari wasn’t there. Instead of him to give another reason why he showed up late towards the end of the debate, he came on to say he (he didn’t debate because Buhari wasn’t there)) and fools like you and others are everywhere jubilating, awon ode jati jati. Those who are wise are wise they’ll forget politics and say things the way they are. Ode like you, if we look at your age now you’re not above 22, it’s better you know when someone is riding on your intelligence when you know clearly what he didn’t has decreased the number of people were willing to vote for him, why? Because those ones are wise unlike you. |

Re: 2019 Presidency: Disappointed Candidates Blast Buhari, Akitu by neyobills: 11:26am On Jan 20, 2019 |
MrRitchie: You are the bigger fool because a WWE Royal rumble is between more than 2 contestants in the ring and could be as much as 10,if the defending champion who is the custodian of the belt refuses to show up with the belt then it would be a fight in futility for other contestants. He gave his reason for the boycott was because the incumbent was not on ground and that was understandable enough while the excuse of the incumbent was a buy schedule,I'm not into partisan politics but I had known the date for the debate since last year so the excuse is a flimsy one cos Atiku perhaps had a busier schedule and was still on ground. Ode like u Methuselah of nairaland why not add some zeros to ur age and go cash it out at the nearest bank, who is playing with your brain, the one who called other contestants political dwarfs or the one who actually came to take on the political giant but decided to boycott after the political giant chickened out. There is a thin line between loyalty and servitude I think u have crossed that line unfortunately crossed that line with your brains along u low self esteem serf. |
