The family of the late Emiile of Imesi Ile, Chief Michael Olabamiji Fakeye, did something unconventional, recently, before he was finally laid to rest in Osun State.

His corpse was dressed in his chieftaincy attire and made to stand upright, before many family members were asked to pose with him for pictures.

The step was taken because his children realized that they had no personal pictures with him while alive.

The man is dead anyway. So he's not feeling anything. He's blank just like a dead wood.

He'll eventually becomes a termite food and the rest of his body will decay and add nutrient to the soil for plant growth.

It's a cycle awaiting all of us.

But at least they should show some respect to his dead body.

Run kwa? They will serve him pounded yam + egusi from the food for guests.

In 19th century England...people used to dress up their dead loved ones and take a photo.

The reason was that photos were costly then...so since no time to take photo when person was alive...do it quickly when dead.
