Nollywood actress and Nigeria’s Oscar Academy member, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has expressed her disappointment with 2019 Oscar nominations.

The popular Nollywood actress took to Instagram to express her sadness that no African movie made the list after the release of this year’s movie nominees.

She said, “Wasn’t So Excited No African Movie made it!” Omotola added, “Someday soon we will be doing this for Africans!”

Her fellow Nigerian Oscar Academy member, Femi Odugbemi, also reacted to the nominations.

I thought this old woman is a veteran who should know that to win an award is not determined by the HD graphics of the film or the number of yeyebrities in it.

Same story line can't continue to win awards yearly
