Menzgold was supposed to be regularised since it had become too big

It was the plan, but with every new government comes new interest and those who felt threathen by it operation decided there was no way they could allow it to operate.

State institutions are sleeping on their jobs
menzgold is simply a ponzi schemes. No goverment should tolerate such industry. they end up liquidating. Nigerian once have their own version in 2017. it is called MMM.

Any business that lures investors and pays profits to earlier investors by using funds obtained from more recent investors without a actual product and service is a pomzi schemes . businesses can not be sustained simply by referring or relying upon people recent investment. A sustainable buisness works with product or service . A meaningful one for that matter.

is NASDAQ a ponzi?
nah, tt deals with stocks exchange. there is movement of services.

You mean an african country has to act for permission to build a nuclear reactor for electricity generation

the Americans are usually concerned because the fuel for nuclear reactor can be enriched an converted to a nuclear weapon

problem with that is you end up using electricity to create electricity...to get hydrogen from water you use electricity which is then converted back to electricity when mixed with oxygen again...in then process we end up using more power than we gain back

Very good question but I think it is better to use electricity than to use fossil fuel . To create hydrogen all you need is 4 to 12 volts dc current and then you get hydrogen There is actually nothing in this world for free. A hydrogen vehicle can travel 500 to 600 kilometres on a single water tank. Why electric vehicles can only travel 300 km

currently Tesla Model S 100D has a 540 km range per single charge..anyway i think the problem with hydrogen is security..you dont want to have an accident while your car is carrying a tank full of hydrogen...outcome is catastrophic

South Africa is classified by the IMF as resource -intensive. South Africa has been built on the back of it's minning industry. Jozi would be nothing without the gold & plantinum mines.

Electrical vehicles are improving day by day. They can now charge themselves and get some more power when they go down the gradient(downhill) no matter the gradient size. What we need now is a super battery! Researchers however are putting their bet on Super-capacitors to power electrical vehicles in future!https://www.iflscience.com/technology/graphene-based-supercapacitors-could-eliminate-batteries-electric-cars-within-5-years/

that is soo true...the chart you just posted really does make alot of sense on what happening...For most of guys dependent on oil things are a bit tricky for them...bythe way what happened to sudan economy.at one time they had bigger GDP than us..
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 3:23pm On Jan 24, 2019
Kenya is growing at more than 6% - or double digit - because you need to factor the strength of currency against USD. That is adding another 4-5% to growth. You see for economy to grow from 88B to 98B in a year - 10B dollars more - then growth rate is more than 10% - around 11%.All that is coming because for many years Kshs has been Africa strongest currency - it doesn't depreciate like the rest - and when it does it not a catastrophy.

so going by this Imf GDP economical projection, which country is likely to be called a developed african county soon.

We can't tell the future but currently the country closest to being developed in Africa is Seychelles, Mauritius, Equatorial Guinea, Namibia, Botswana and South Africa in that order.
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp2018: 3:27pm On Jan 24, 2019
Sudan devalued their currency and it just keep weakening against the USD. To understand that...imagine kenya in 1993..when exchange rate from 1:20USD certainly went as low as I think 60! Sudanese pound moved from 18 to usd to now anything 60 (black market - official rate 47).

That crashes the nominal GDP. How does this happen - foreign currency shortage! Kenya continues to defy that - despite exports being stuck at 5-6B.

At exactly a half their population, Ghana is set to overtake Tanzania before the end of next year. That'll be a shame to our Southern neighbors.
