I am not a lawyer but a concerned Nigerian. I strongly hail PMB for suspending the CJN according to the instructions of the court.
He Onnoghen is not above the law. I take pity on most of us youths criticising Buhari. We should be hailing him.
Another question is. Is Onnoghen guiilty or innocent? Why is he afraid to clear his name of the allegations. The petition is about corruption and false access declaration not about his duty as a judge. The issue of taking him to NJC is out of it. How can be judge his own matter. God help us.
He should clear his name period. All these people shouting Buhari is a dictator should go and sit down.

Nobody is saying don't discipline the CJN. But laid down procedures must be followed.
It's like saying the police can go ahead and kill you on the street because you are in possession of hemp. It's sad.

What is the procedure here? Taking the case to NJC, where the CJN appoints 20 out of the about 23 members. The CJN is the head there as well.
A competent court gave the suspension order to Buhari. So he has to answer his case. Period.

The question is why is he afraid to face trial. Is he above the law?
Why was he running from Court to court to stop the trial? Is he above the law?
How can he forget to declare hundreds of thousands of dollars?
Is he a business man?
Stop fooling around. He is gone.

The CJN did not write the constitution.
It's not a problem if he appoints 23/23 of the NJC's membership. It's constitutional privilege which must be respected.
Let him answer the questions the prescribed way.

Although I am not in support of Buhari using Gestapo tactics to remove and prosecute the CJN, but can you tell us what procedure you will follow to prosecute a CJN or any other judge you have enough evidence of wrongdoings against.
Remember the CJN is the chairman of the NJC and only he can summon a meeting of the NJC as well receive petitions to the NJC.

The law is made for man and not man made for law. How do you suggest an erring CJN to be investigated, disciplined or removed for crimes not related to his office, Eg murder, rape or stealing

I am not surprise to see that most wailers are from SS And East...

Is it not this same set of people that celebrated DSP Alamaesiha When he was clearly proven to be corrupt...
And still gave a convicted looter in the person of Ibori a rousing welcome...

In A Saner society the CJN should have resigned even after he claimed that he "FORGOT"

Its because of that useless procedure that Dasuki who has admitted to stealing is still not convicted today. If that due process should be followed it will take years to finally suspend that corrupt chief. Buhari is a strong man indeed. He is clearly mot here to joke
