I have been having this discomforting sound in my right ear for almost a week now.
I don't really know what it is. it's sounds like night insect,but my ear has been checked and nothing is in there.
please, who has experienced this and what did you do?

Might be the side effects of some medications/drugs.

For example, Sildenafil Citrate is known to cause some "ringing sensations" in the ear or excessive amplification of sounds..give it a little time.

But if you haven't been on any drugs lately, then go for auditory tests.

Exactly....what do i do? I'm so sad. it's so discomforting and I'm writing exams.

For most, its recommended for treatment of erectile dysfunction in older men..but if you haven't used it in any form, don't worry about its side effects as I just used it as an illustration..go for tests or book an appointment with a doctor.

This is "Tinnitus" a buzzing sound in your ear,it has no cure it can only be reduced.
Causes; Stress, high blood pressure and working in a noisy environment.it has no cure,,it can only be reduced.learn to live with it.

It could be tinnitus
