Ghana has praga which border it to burkina faso, elubo which border it to Abidjan and aflao which boarder it to lome. and all these boarders are well secured. . can't say much of kenya. Nigeria has so many unregistered boarders. ogun state as a whole has more than five rought to Benin republic.

The only way i know to there is thru education. try middle sex university Mauritius branch. it is UK university.

Even either of China, India or US won't exceed $70 trillions in 2050. Nigeria's population is growing fast, not economy or income. It still will not go beyond $4-5 trillions. But yeah, it still will become a significant country.
We have to see that Nigeria's growth story with perfect demography will start when Asian economies will have prospered and matured like Europe. Hence, their growth will be slow.

China & Northeast Asia will be highly developed countries like US & Western Europe and India & Southeast Asia will be partially developed countries like Russia and Eastern Europe. Growth will not be there and populations will be declining. But their economies will be still far bigger, their people will be far richer & militarily stronger than Africa, Europe and rest of world, much stronger than they are today.

Nigeria's growth story will start when others' will to shag. Nigeria will be a full fledged big power till 2100 A.D. though. But for next few decades, it has to recover.

Our economic is firing on all it's cylinders. Yours had it growth projection slashed by IMF by 0.3 points. Now it will crawl at 2% - while you population growth is nearly 3-4%! your GDP per capita - is hemorrhaging - at possibly -1 or 2% annually.

Ours is growing at 6.5% this year, population growth is 1.5%, inflation has been single digit forever, and KSHS is one world strongest currency against USD.

We have never really had a debt crisis. That is strange thing. We will repay that debt and borrow more.

You need to understand how they operate.National Population Commission that does census has 36 commissioners. I think Each state appoint a commissioner.

During the actual census every state races to inflate their figures because FEDERAL ALLOCATION is dependant on it. At least with election they may deploy biometric - but Census is just poor enumators filling papers.

The census become so much manipulated - 2006 - the actual census showed they were 200M Nigerian

So the 36 commissioners sat down and culled the figures using the accepted "%". Lagos can expect to be always 6% of Nigeria.

There was really no need to waste 1B dollars in 2016 to do another census.

Last week I heard the theory,not for the first time for the full spectrum dysfunction in Naij. They started off on the wrong foot. Their introduction to global trading was the slave trade:in so doing they learned all the wrong things. How not to work,how patience and productivity are no obstacle to success especially when you can enslave and sell strangers,relatives and even fam for quick easy money. That's why they laugh at the very idea of agriculture and will never escape the oil curse.

Literacy level in that same Lagos is higher than in Nairobi, Kenya's number one city. What's more, that same Lagos has fewer of its people living in slums than Nairobi.
