My Observation As Regards CJN Onnoghen's Suspension by galaxy15(op): 11:27pm On Jan 27, 2019
I was discussing with someone and then it dawned on me that the PDP and Atiku campaign groups are really taking this Issue more than any other person or parties involved.
It's obvious the man is corrupt and has unexplainable assests and wealth though is on suspension for claiming he forgot to declare.

Though the mode of suspension is political however the case has all needed constitutional backings to see that the suspension is upheld and if taken to court could lead to jail term! - this was also confirmed by Com. Falana.

So my issue is why is the pdp so keen to the extent of even suspending their campaign what do they stand to loose or gain as the case may be?

your opinion or Femi Falanas opinion doesn't matter in this case , all that matters is the constitution which is clear that Buhari has no such powers to suspend the Chief Justice of Nigeria!!! whatever crime Onnoghen might have or might have not commited is very irrelevant in the case at hand which whether Buhari has any such powers to suspend the CJN

Buhari should have sent the CCTs recommendation to the NJC who would be the ones to decide on the line of action to take

Pls note that I stated the suspension was political however the main question is why the exaggerated reaction from pdp and Atiku campaign group what do they stand to loose or gain from the suspension or reinstatement of Onnoghen respectively

So many neophytes in this forum. You dont get it do you. The outcry is for Buhari tyranny , suspending the constitution simply bcuz you want to fight "corruption".

I for one is not for Onnoghen, but you cant flaunt the constitution bcuz you want to make corruption fight quicker which by the way is falacy.
He first started with Dasuki and elzakzaky and now this.

Your likes dont really get the import of these. Buhari has never liked Onnoghen and that was why even as NJC forwarded his name to Buhari to forward to senate he refused. it took sickness for for Onnoghen to become cjn. The guy is going through all these bcuz he is not in the good books of the presidency. Are you aware that Tanko that APC want so badly to be CJN fraudlently procured a judgement for Isa yuguda when he was the appeal court judge.

You cant just suspend the constitution bcus the njc is not your friend.

So you who is a veteran of this forum and has failed to see the main question asked... Again I said the suspension was political in my post... But why is the pdp going haywire about the situation? How does it affect them? They too are guilty of manipulating the constitution in their previous years in power on very similar occasions. Not that I support Buhari's approach but why are they in a frenzy?

BTW your beginning statement in your third paragraph as highlighted shows the sentimental approach you responded with! and I guess you who is of a different species and kind has it figured out!

point of correction. Buhari didn't suspend the C(t)hief justice Onnoghen, the CCT did.
