Long time ago, the Supreme Court ruled that he must publish names of thieves who looted our treasury, how much was looted, and how much was recovered. Till date, he's yet to comply with the order. President Buhari has defied seven judgments of the high court since 2015 in the case of former national security adviser Sambo Dasuki that ruled Dasuki should be free on bail. Dasuki still held in jail. What's wrong in granting bail to the accessed and prosecute him? sarrki:If we cannot begin our conversation from an elementary baseline of agreement on what is patently unconstitutional without the usual hedging, waffling, obfuscation, and silly sophistry, then where is the basis for having a nation, for Nigeria to exist? When the highest, final legal document of the country, its very raison d'être, is not considered final, binding, or sacrosanct but rather a situational, negotiable, relative, and advisory document to be invoked or ignored at our convenience then there is no need to pretend that we're modern nation-state, let alone a democracy. A monarchy would suit us just fine, with Buhari as the first king in the House of Buhari dynasty and Yusuf Buhari as the crown prince. 2 Likes 2 Shares |
