People have wondered why some of us do not have the PVC Card. I am proud to say I am one of them. My experience today shows that I was right all along.

Staff of IBEDC (one of the very useless and unprofessional companies) came to our house insinuating that we are using direct connection for our prepaid metre. The boss who is a woman (one of the reasons I hate women bosses, they carry their job on their head as if it is gala, one out of 4 female bosses shows that ugly statistic). The woman said it point blank that she suspects we are criminals. Read that last sentence again for emphasis.

That suspecting sentence in the previous paragraph can make that company ruined by essence of being sued in saner climes. But as for Nigeria and our very slow justice, that is the story for another day.

I tried to tell her she was wrong for such suspicion. You don't become a plaintiff, judge and jury on any matter. It is not done anywhere.

Can you believe as I was saying this, she was cutting me off and disrespecting me. If not that I am a gentleman, I would have slapped and assaulted her and she would have deserved it. We are a very lawless bunch in this country.

Because she was right in her suspicion, once they indeed checked (can you also believe she was discouraging them from doing that, of course she did not want to be wrong smh) that it was indeed a direct connection. They went ahead to disconnect it.

Now, if a Nigerian in a small powerful position as this woman can not agree she is wrong and apologize and postpone the disconnection. And she is also a Christian. The reason I have not been going to church these days. A place where the pastor is supposed to tell the members where they are wrong and treat people the way they would want to be treated is instead talking of tithes and offerings, how do you expect me to take such place serious? I am sure this is the reason we are a lawless country and a country of scammers and disrespectful people.

In addition, if an ordinary citizen can be that lawless, who tells you a politician among these lawless people will not be worse?

Now, you can see why I can never get a PVC and vote inside the sun for a lawless person. If I get a PVC, it is just for identification as getting a driver's license is that much more difficult and a passport is very expensive.

We have a long long way to go in this country and this country will never be the one that will work for us in our lifetime or maybe never which is just sad and pathetic.

End of rant.
