PoliticsNGR has just gathered that the court of Appeal has struck out a motion brought by the embattled suspended Chief Justice Of Nigeria, CJN, Walter Onnoghen seeking for a stay of action in his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT.

Onos should go face his trial at the CCT which will now resume sitting since the appeal was unsuccessful.

I still do not understand why a criminal who has been caught red handed will be grandstanding rather than apologizing profusely and begging for mercy?

Could it be that he "forgot" how to apologize or wants to learn what it means to be a convict that is incarcerated in jail?

He has brought great shame to his family, all for the lure of filthy lucre.

most of you dont know that in as much as CJN is a Judge he is equally a Public servant, and CCB has the right without the interference of any court to try cases that fall on its jurisdiction
