I bought 2 Glo N500 each today in Lagos Island. One of the card connected. When I loaded the second one, I received the following message:
"Sorry, we are unable to process your request. We are trying to resolve the issue. Please wait for 2 hours and try agian to recharge."

Immediately, I called the customer care and they told me someone has loaded the card that afternoon. Meanwhile, I was the one that scratch the card. So, they said there is nothing they can do about it. I complained to the person I bought it from and he took me to the dealer he bought it from. The woman said It's Glo that print scratch card that I should go to their customer care office that is adjacent in Lagos Island there. Guess What? When I got there, they said their is no network that I should come on Monday.

So, I called the customer care again. After speaking with 4 different agents, the fourth guy who attended to me now collected the Serial number and pin number and promise to forward it to the department that handle that. He said I should check back in 24 to 48 hours.

When I got home, one elderly neighbour called me to help him check a card he bought. Alas! It's Glo N500. He bought it since morning and when he loads, they said the pin is invalid. When I check the serial number, the first 10 digits is the same with my card that didn't work and the first 6 digits of the pin is the same. I called the customer care, the phone rang for almost 50 minutes and it wasn't picked before Glo end the call.

So I'm still waiting for 24 hours before I take it up with Glo. In the meantime, if you are buying Glo N500 watch out for the one with the serial number starting with 8511853070.....

Too many scammers in this useless country. That was how I withdrew fake currencies at one ATM in Abuja.

I went inside the Bank to complain, no one believed me.
