My dad has 3 sons, and while we were all problem children, I was easily the most useless...because of my reckless approach to life in general. It's not as if I had liver sef, I was too stüpid to be afraid in most cases.

When my dad had had enough of my antics, I was switched to a different boarding school in one of those Christian towns along Lagos-Ibadan express way.

I would sneak out the hostel at night...through the Bush..and walk maybe 2 miles to get out of the town...then brave the risk of one-chance...and enter bus to Sagamu...just to nack cheap oloshos and smoke some weed.

This was in the days with no mobile phones. You die, and they don't even know where to start looking for your bones.

I can laugh about my antics now, almost 20 years on...but trust me, some of us didn't actually have that liver..we just wanted fück, get high, or die trying.
