Because corruption has a place of honour in our society. You don't see politicians praying at the back in a mosque.

most churches are business enterprises and as such strive to make ends meet inorder not to run on a net loss. the politicians pay more than other members of the church, that is why the front seats and rows are always reserved for them. in summary, they apply "the-more-you-pay-the-closer-to-the-front-principle"

Gbam.
Enter any kingdom hall of Jehovah's Witnesses & sit down anywhere that pleases you & enjoy the spiritually nourishment of God's word.
No passing around of boxes for offering or public announcement/praise of high net worth donors/ individuals(Matt6:1-4. Luke 21:1-4. 2cor9:7).
* Quietly go the contribution box at the extreme end , after the last row of seats & make voluntary contributions(if u wish).
