bigglenn12:What is required is evidence that the person can conveniently sustain himself without recourse to public fund: so, how much money is up to the discretion of the entry clearance immigration officer. |

eyescue:These hints that i provided are intended for travelers to get clues of the kind of questions that are to be expected from Entry Clearance Officers so they may be well prepared for them: the answers that may be fitting for one person might not be fitting for another as individual cases are treated in their own merits... FOR TOURIST OR GENERAL VISIT: What is your purpose of coming today? ="Visiting". How long are you staying for? =As according to flight ticket... Where would you be staying at? =As according to accommodation arrangement... Who are you staying with? =As according to accommodation arrangement and pre-declared contact... What would you be doing in the country? =As according to itinerary arrangement... What would you be seeing? =As according to itinerary and programme arrangement... By what means would you be transporting yourself from your accommodation to your places of interest? =As according to itinerary arrangement... (Equip yourself with relevant information) Are you going to be shopping as well? =I'm not actually coming here for shopping, but perhaps some few thing, ie souvenirs. How do you intend to support yourself? =(Smile) of course i've not come to turn a beggar (smile) How much money have you got to sustain your purposes? =As according to budget: "Don't worry, i'll be just fine". Do you have any credit card or the likes? =Depending on whether i have Credit/Debit card on me or not. Is any one else assisting you financially? =Depending on whether someone is supporting me or not What do you do in your country? =I work in Nairaland land 24/7. Do you have any contact in this country? =Oh yes, www.nairaland.com What would you be returning to your country for? =My job and other ties... You're welcome to the country. (Stamp on Passport). Or, "unfortunately your visa will be cancelled and you would be returning with the next available flight to Lagos". |

ethereal:It would have been easier to use correct writing style. Well, it is too early to speculate, many things could be the reasons for him not answering calls to his Nigerian number. |
