Our attention has been drawn to the information making the rounds on major online platforms concerning the family of BENIAH AGOBOYE who cried out to the public concerning the health and heart condition of their child BENIAH sometime last week.

The story making the rounds with Mr. Agoboye Monday’s picture to have absconded with N70m is not true so we wish to state the following.


1. That at no time did Agoboye Monday abscond with the money and left the baby as claimed

2. That the outcry and appeal for support from the public were genuine and was necessitated by the deteriorating state of Beniah’s health due to his heart condition.

3. That Beniah Agoboye is the child of Mr. Agoboye Monday F contrary to the claims in some section of the media that he was a hired baby used to scam the public.

4. That Agoboye Monday has maintained communication with everyone except when extremely impossible to do so due to the outrageous volume of calls coming in on per minute bases.

5. That some people who supposedly supported the campaign has turned around and are making malicious and defamatory comments about Agoboye Monday and the fund raised for reasons best known to them.

6. That these false claims and rumours are putting the family and the baby at higher risk than even the heart condition that threatens the life of Beniah, so those putting out the lies should stop forthwith
that all necessary effort is on to get the best treatment for baby Beniah as this was and still is the ultimate goal for the fundraising.

7. That the Agoboye’s family already came out in a video on the fourth day of putting out the appeal after reaching the required amount, to thank the world and all those who supported in one way or another, and also ask for a stop to the donations as the targeted sum has been reached. 8. That the Agoboye’s has nothing to hide as this has become a public issue but some of the demands made by those who are spreading the lies are a bit restricted items, that even the Agoboye’s does not have the express right to furnish the public with as at this moment, e.g (a) Bank Statement (b) unauthorized medical report from medical institution handling Beniah, (c) residential address, etc as all these has serious security and other implications.

9. That HOLYGIST.COM shall be releasing updates on Beniah’s treatment and progress from now onward to the public on daily basis and the public should maintain the goodwill they showed from the beginning as God will also reach out to you in your times of need.
