We all have to up our negotiation low balling skills when bargaining for prospective deals forthwith.

Got a pending deal currently. Price already agreed and deal seemed great. But seeing the new shipping fee, I had to abandon the chat with seller

2days shipping is sweet. Boom the phone Don show. But in the long run the business no go dey profitable cos so many people plus end users go decide to import sef. Its similar to uber, when it came out uber only allowed cars from 2005 upwards to run on the platform but as soon. As they made it more lenient from 2000 upwards, every Tom dick and Harry Don enter the biz even cars of 1999. Today go to uber thread and see ppl selling off their cars as it no longer profitable. Those on it are complaining badly. On a daily basis ppl are registering to drive on uber. Una no go seem am now. E sweet but later later many will find the business tougher and not worth it. Chicago gan nor too get deals even Kansas and indiana na him worst pass. You go see 3 people want chop one deal lol. Bring on the 2days shipping let's enjoy the business while it lasts

If this rates have already existed before now or if this was the rate lionlee started using on the first day he opened this thread ..I am u sure u wouldn’t dispute it and u would have adjusted to it.....so just learn to negotiate more in ur favor..

Lion, don't disturb yourself about it. Make 2 days and normal shipping available for customers. They can go for anyone they like. But, 2 days shipping might not go if you didn't meet up with your minimum 100lbs. So, customers should watch out for updates if you meet up or not. If you don't meet up, they either exercise patience till you meet up or opt for normal shipping. That's the best way to avoid when you start and you don't quickly meet up and customers starts complaining that 2 days shipping isn't even different from normal shipping as a result of delay in meeting up with your minimum shipping weight.

Otherwise, anytime your 2 days seems slow to reach its minimum lbs quickly, privately reach out to those people with much goods which wants to go for normal and offer them somehow reasonable 2 days shipping deal. I believe, this will be for a start and also see it as a sacrifice to pay for things to work out for the time been. As times goes on. 2 days shipping will be the bomb and you will be exceeding your minimum lbs sef.

it's best you put faces/names to those choosing 2 days or normal shipping, so you know how to make your decision. Either you like it or not,there's a particular clique/set of buyers that you benefit from more than others and they definitely have more volume of items than most, if they aren't making profit with the 2 days shipping balance, they won't be coming back as often as they have been and I believe you know what that means.

I believe majority of your clients here deal in Lagos, Lagos prices are quite volatile, an item's price in Ikeja can drop as much as 20k in a week, while this may not affect those in other parts of the country, though ecommerce doesn't have borders but your local market matters.

But if practicable, I'd suggest both shipping methods be optional. That way, based on the urgency and profitability of the demands, a dealer would decide which shipping option to employ

Just like Aywhy93 said, if normal shipping comes up every week as usual, we won't miss out at all... Because as you receive a package this week, another is already on its way for next week, before you that one reach, another is also ready for shipping.....

The only reason why this January was tight is just because their was backlogs, due to Daaz's incident and airline maintenance.
