In 1995, during a FA Cup semi-final match, former Super Eagles player, Daniel Amokachi substituted himself on the pitch without the approval of the coach and went on to scored a brace.

His Coach, Royle, described it as "the best substitution I never made."

That's remind me of Oliseh. There was a game Nigeria was playing I think against Senegal and Oliseh was on bench and down with fever. Senegal was leading the game. Oliseh had to defy it all begged to get into the game. He was introduced. It did not take long that with some combination with Aghahowa Nigeria redeemed themselves.
