Good ol days....newsline made news worth listening to. Made news look like telemundo. Everyone was glued.
"Its 9 o clock, do you know where your children are?". Only God knows how many children that opening line saved. No phones then so it was always a relief for my parents that all of us were accounted for. I can imagine that same line made many parents uneasy especially those whose kids were already in the university at the beginning/height of violent cultism in the 90's.

if you know these programs and these people: tales by moonlight, beyond our dreams Alex usifo, teacher Chike s village head master, moji makanjuola, Fatima Abbas hassan, nnamsel nimyel, and so on and so on. those are the ones that o remember, you can remind me of others. one thing about nta is their richness on content, up till now I have not find any TV station as rich in content as nta!!!

Frank Olize is really a legend, he really changed the face of broadcasting. Also missing the likes of the late Tokunbo Ajayi and Kehinde Young-Harry in the days of THE PRESS(a newspaper review program in the early to mid 80s).

Only news NTA ever had, only NTA news every1 was eager to listen to.
