A man who allegedly raped a six year old girl in Lagos, got more than he bargained for after angry residents stormed residence to drag him out.

The man who is said to be 57-years-old, allegedly raped the little girl and told her not to tell anyone.

The girl reportedly raised an alarm after the alleged act and identified her molester.

A visibly angry crowd stormed his house and confronted him over the accusation.

The man was dragged into a car after minutes of struggle as he begged the aggrieved residents.

He was later taken to the police station as investigation into the matter is underway.
