Or are you oblivious of the fact that cult activities and clashes has long ago expanded beyond the walls of our higher institutions? For well over a decade there has been countless cult activities and killings all over the towns, villages and inner cities in all parts of Nigeria especially the SOUTHERN PART of the country.

A lot of the cult killings happening outside are carried out by youths within secondary school age. It's sad.

According to reports, a renewed clash between rival cult groups has left about six people dead in Anambra state.

It was gathered that the latest killing happened yesterday in Awka, the state capital, as about six (6) person were said to have been killed in total at the Amikwo part of the inner city, mostly inhabited by locals and tenants.

The residents are calling on the state government to step up the security situation and prevent further killings by the warring groups.

Last year, over ten person were shot dead during a bloodbath in Obosi,Idemili North local Government Area of Anambra state when two prominent cult groups in the area, Vikings and Aiye confraternities, clashed.

Two pregnant women were shot, and scores of persons robbed in the course of the fight.

Awka is currently brewing hot. You may see someone today in awka, and b4 tomorrow he's gone. Surprisingly these cult activities are being carried out by youngsters mostly primary and secondary school dropouts.
