90 percent if Yorubas are extremely tribalistic, they even hate does that carried other tribes along. As far as Yoruba's are eating others can die , that's the mentality of an average Yoruba. When a Yoruba was director of personnel in Exxon Mobil within a year Yoruba's filled all prominent positions of Exxon Mobil in Akwa Ibom State. Employment was done at Lagos to the disadvantage of the host communities. When the issue was reported to the then military administrator who was a Yoruba man he said Akwa Ibom are not educated that why Yoruba's filled everywhere in Mobil. The man was slapped by an Akwa Ibom woman after that stupid statement

I have a better advice for Lamidi Kanu, move the port to ABA, carry the Atlantic ocean to Umuahia.
He is crying about apapa port. even people coming into the country by air used MMI more than other international airports in the country.
Even those coming into the country from the West Africa by road, will first get to Lagos
Lagos is geographically position to succeed, the government of Lagos State only keyed into this factor, to move Lagos forward.
grin grin grin grin grin Lagos is highly blessed, whoever is having issue with this should just jump into the lagoon, yeah Lagos have many Lagoons too.

If Apapa and Tin can Island pprts erre closed and everyone forced to use Calabar or Igweocha(Portharcourt) Yorubas would be screaming blue murder by now

Who controls the Onne port today?
You think atiku will share that with anyone?
Just wait and see how he, Atiku , will hide under the cloak of bureaucracy as a reason for not achieving restructuring. Even the confab by JEG couldn't see light of day talk less of atiku who maybe faced with an opposition NASS.

It will interest you to note that 93% of the proceeds from those ports goes to the federal govt/fulani caliphate. Even if the ports are reversed down south , lagos will still serve the vast majority. The port at Onne (Igweocha) is up and running bit the igbos expecially, prefer lagos.

This isn't just about the proceeds of the port going to the Federal Government but also about ancillary benefits of having a port in area.

If Calabar and Igweocha ports where the only ones in use in Nigeria, the import/export activity would grow the economy of the area. Huge investments in Banking, Transportation, Maritime industry and many others.

So it's not just about what the Ports generate but also what they attract to the local area where they are. That one is even more important than the revenue the Ports generate
