I've gone through a bunch of Engine ringing stuffs & they are quite educative but still needs to ask this question which a friend and I are yet to be on thesame because I ain't a petrolhead! shocked

Please, can experts tell us which grade of oil is better for a newly ringed engine(Is it d old thick oil eg Mobil XHP 20w50, or other lighter products is safer huh

You have the answer there as bolded, though vehicle details is unknown but I assume you refer to later model. All vehicle have recommended oil and after ringing with OEM part, then use the right oil.
