We are nothing to these extremely selfish and wicked politicians. Why can’t we try a different party or a different candidate?
I supported Buhari and voted for him in 2015 but never again.

It's always going to be like this...because, some police, navy and lastma officers usually benefit from the bread given out by the owners of these trucks.

Autojosh, its a temporary traffic regulation from state government. You need to make your research properly. All those trucks you see there are waiting for their turn before they head to their destination to avoid getting Apapa locked.

Where are the bridges?

How will any sane govt allow trucks to park on bridges ?

You posted almost 10 pics without any of them showing tricks on bridges but your title says trucks on bridges ...

Hmnn
This one is clearly not in Lagos.
From western avenue to ojuelegba bridge to barracks bridge to Eko bridge/apapa road, it's one long trailer park. Police are posted to guard them while touts collect 2k per night

With proper planning, they wouldn't need to park on the road brah!

Even if it means clearing some jungle somewhere to give them open parking space and then employing time regulated pickups at the port.

It can be done, they don't have to park on a two lane road, leaving only one lane available for millions of drivers.

You are not entirely right and your suggestion will take time while the gridlock persist. That was why I stated it was a temporary solution. Where is the bush to clear in lagos?
Most you see are lagoons and canals that is mistaken as bushes which will take years to clear and fill.
What they have done so far is not the best but its adviceable giving the situation at hand.

Useless country

In this country only the ruling class life matter
To politicians

The most baffling is how the local people support this impunity
