I will want to knw, if all tins been equal in specs nd previous usage, which of these two vehicles should i take?

Their toks cost almost same price.

Please am a novice in this matter so i need your guide.

Depends on what you want.
If you are a 1st time car owner,the Corolla is better for you cos the merc is a little more complex especially for a first timer and as it's not such a new car again.
Parts will have started failing due to age and a novice might not be able to detect faults leading to further damage or mechanics and parts sellers go de chop you as a novice. The Corolla is better in that respect cos it's a simpler car that even vulcanizers can repair
Then,do you commute long distances daily especially with holdups?
Does cost of fueling matter to you?
If yes ,d merc is a little thirstier than d Corolla but is also sweeter to drive.Any speed above 120km/hr,d Corolla feels like a paper kite.
Then finally, that Corolla is a thieves and robbers magnet.
Them too like am.
How secure is your compound to guard against vandals?With d Corolla, you shouldn't go "everywhere" especially at night coz of robbers.

Definitely Corolla best maintenance and fuel efficient from the benz. And best 2nd hand value if you'd resell or exchange for a bigger car later.

In mine humble opinion, you are better off with the corolla.. Tokunbo corolla and 05 tokunbo C240 are not the same price.. A grade A Tokunbo C240 will cost u nothing less than 2m on the spot.. A Benz is designed for luxury and speed ,but unfortunately enough not too many people can afford to care for a Benz.. A Benz is not for first time car owner.. Oil change on a Benz alone will run you at about 40k .. Benz can be a bit expensive to maintain, but once you maintain it well, it will last you years to come.. I would not advice benz for a first time car owner... it is a beauty to drive in a Benz, and takes an experienced owner to maintain that beauty

Not too sure about that.. Majority of corolla are from uber partners. Corolla is the most abuse cars plying the Nigerian road.. By the time the corolla is passed on to the next buyer ,it is usually on its last leg .. From experience I will never buy any use naija cars, especially the corolla...
