Messi once again displayed greatness when he allowed Philippe Coutinho take the spot kick that is meant for him to convert naturally.

When Messi was fouled by Quincy Promes he allowed Coutinho to step up to beat Juan Soriano and get the rout up and running.

Is not the first time seeing Messi gifting away penalty to his teammates,starting with Neymar,Suarez,Dembele, Coutinho etc.

This kind of Messi gestures is rare to see nowadays, especially when other players fight to be the main spot kick taker.

This prove that scoring goals seems cool but building the team up and carrying all along is the real deal, which Messi is best known for.

And Coutinho who is one of the beneficiaries have expressed his gratitude for the man with a heart of gold Messi.

"The penalty has come naturally," Coutinho told Barca TV. "Leo's gesture shows how great he is.

"Thanks to Leo, for letting me kick the penalty, that's good for the confidence of the group.

"We knew that to overcome, we had to be involved from the beginning."

Coutinho scored twice as Barca heaped more Copa del Rey misery on Sevilla, whom they battered 5-0 in last year's final.

Ivan Rakitic, Luis Suarez, Sergi Roberto, each found the back of the net and Messi also was on target.

Barca's 6-1 victory overturned a 2-0 deficit from the first leg when Messi was rested by Valverde, but the captain was in inspirational form at Camp Nou.

I hope that Coutinho will stay at Barcelona. I am a really fan of him. I know that he is having a horrid time but he has the potential to win over his haters. He just needs to work on his game and don't give importance to what people are talking about him. I think he is the best option to 'replace' Iniesta.
