Hi Nairalanders.. I need some tips on my idea of building a 16 rooms self contained hostel in Owerri, 8 rooms in each floor.

The land is ready, I would like to know the estimated budget in order to know If I should start the project.

My budget presently is N15,000,000 but I'm not sure if It will complete the project, I need advice from engineers in the house, I also need an engineer that can handle the project very well.

I design and carry out building construction,and i also reside in owerri
15m will take you far but without a design on ground first we can never know the cost accurately.

What you need now first is a design in which costing and adjustment will follow in other to suit your budget.

you need a design first before discussing cost.all self contain are not born equal. If the land is already fenced and gated, 15m should or nearly complete the project. It largely depends on your taste. I can refer you to an experienced designer and builder from Onitsha. He had handled a similar project here before and i have known him as a honest guy from my secondary school days.
