I have been trying to install a php script on live server, hosted by namecheap. But I keep getting errors, only the home page shows, but if I click on other links like create account, login, it will bring out error 404. But the script works well on local server with no error. Please what could be the cause?

More like caching or config issues.

which framework or just pure php?

It's might be an issue with htaccess. if you mention the script, someone might be able to provide better info as to what and where to check.

The framework is codeigniter.

The framework is codeigniter.

If it's CodeIgniter, then you probably have an issue with your base_url configuration. Specify your base_url and that should solve your problem.
