They are very close, I think Snapdragon 660 beats kirin 710 in GPU department but the difference is not noticeable. Presently I'm using Huawei Y9 and I v not seen any weakness at all, never for once warm, lag or misbehave. If I were you, I will also be confused about which one to go for but I was lucky Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 was not available when I bought mine and Huawei Y9 was just a clear winner in terms of spec for price at that time.

I used to be a Tecno lova until I lost my Camon C9. In the verge of searching for a better phone, I discovered the intro of Camon 11 which I tot was the BOMB! I had another tot in my mind to research on better phones in the same price range as camon11 pro. Now I'm stock between Huawei y9 2019 and Nokia X6. I would have preferred the Nokia 6.1 plus 6gb ram 64gb rom, but the price is way too high for my phone budget. The nokia x6 would have been better considering the price but my worry is that it only has the band 3(1800) )Ghz frequency for 4G lte.
I heard a rumour that Glo is moving to this same 4G Lte band. How true is this?
What I understand about ppl thinking Tecno to be the best affordable phones is that Tecno and Infinix are using the power of exploitation knowing that these other beautiful brands are not readily available in the Nigerian markets. So pple are totally ignorant of the fact that there are better mid range phones.
Now even Samsung has come up with M20. Why now?
I stand with Nokia, Huawei, Xiaomi,.....
I bet you dat if these other brands take up shop in 9ja, Tecno go either sit up or hide face.
