I personally do not do business with anyone less than 1 and half years activity on Nairaland. I look at time registered and the kind of posts and past deals.

This has guided me in selecting who not to do business with to avoid stories like yours.

Moving away from this transaction. If i'm selling a higher quality product should i bring my price down because another vendor might be selling a lower quality for less?

You have no assurance that i'm not selling you shit packaged in a box. Just like every transaction here, there's always an inherent risk, take it or leave it. Personally, I've been burnt from online purchases from Jumia/Konga in the past so i'd just rather walk into a store which i did for this purchase.

For intending buyers:
The AVS guard was purchased in November 2018 and comes with a one year warranty. I'm selling because the light where i moved into isnt stable - PHCN constantly supplies low voltage and the AC guard cuts the light supply to my AC like it should.
