Nigeria and Nigerians will have to count their losses as INEC postponed the election on election day.

No less than N1billion has been lost due to this poor planning by INEC.

Many ready-to-vote Nigerians have travelled to their various states and abode in other to be able to vote. In fact, I have a friend who flew to Port Harcourt from Lagos just so he can exercise his franchise. Now imagine how many patriotic Nigerians would have done the same.

Many companies reduced their working hours on Friday so that staffs can quickly get to wherever they want to relocate to. I knew of a company that allowed its employee to go home by 12 noon and another company allowed till 2 pm. Such reduction in time can be converted into millions for many companies

In addition, many weekend events which could have generated a lot of money and boost the economy had been cancelled because of the election which eventually did not hold. Marriage ceremonies in hundreds have been cancelled, and those who fixed theirs to 23rd of February would have to reschedule.

There are other ways by which money has been lost due to the lack of foresight and late decision-making by the INEC Chairman.

There is nothing bad in postponing an election if logistics is yet to be completed but the TIMING is very disappointing and created avoidable financial losses.

What other ways do you think the postponement has caused or will caused economic losses?

I really hate this country sometimes. How do you f*** up something you've had almost four years to plan?

Some people are destined to lose their jobs over this unnecessary postponement. I was on the fence before but now, Buhari has to go.

I will organize a petition against the use of ballot boxes from next election. We should be voting electronically by now.

I am not only pissed, I'm disgusted and deeply ashamed of my country.

Too many gibberish and you still haven't told me how this is Buharis's fault.

If Buhari was in charge of inec and orchestrating its decisions, don't you think inec would have included APC in the ballot papers for Zamfara elections?

Buhari will not enter this time. Had it been the election held today. Votes are sure for him and his victory guaranteed. But Inec postponing the election have destroyed his chance of retaining his office as president.
