Ali Nuhu, the popular Northern actor has revealed that he met his wife on set as he talked about his big break into the English movie industry from Kannywood. 

In an interview with Daily Trust, Ali Nuhu disclosed that he met his wife, Maimuna, on the set of the now-classic Hausa movie, ‘Wasila’. He said; 

“I was working on set, in the year 2000 when I saw her walk into the house we were shooting in, and I jokingly said to my colleagues Ishaq Sidi Ishaq and Hajara Usman, that I have seen my wife-to-be. One thing led to another, and we got talking. We had an understanding, and two days later I asked the producer of the movie, Yakubu Lere, who is her relative, that I would like to meet her again. He arranged a meeting, and we clicked immediately.”

He further disclosed that his wife has been his major support system in the movie industry.

I'm almost perplexed when people say "the first time I met my wife I knew she was the one" but then I remember for every ten people that gets this right, billions get it wrong. So no biggie

I like the guy but he has some element of pride in him.

By the way, why is it all the so called Kannywood movies is centered on Marriage, love and dance?

Does it mean Hausa people don't have culture?

Seriously watching Hausa movie is as boring as hell cos one can guess how the movie would end within just 10 minutes of watching. Also they need to stop copying Indian and Arabian culture and traditions.

What i understand is about 75% of kannywood actors/actresses, director aint real Hausa/Fulani.
