NNAMDI KANU SHOULD RESCUE ABIA STATE, BEFORE HE RESCUES NDI IGBO.

In 1999 democracy was reinvented in Nigeria, the military exited the political sphere, this gave room to all and sundry to actively participate in politics all over the country. My focus in this piece is on Abia State of Nigeria.
In 1999 Orji Uzo Kalu was elected the Governor of Abia State, he presided over the affairs of the state until 2007. During his reign as Governor, one can almost impossibly point to any visible achievement of his government, except for the invention of the dreaded bakassi boys cult group, who kills and burns people in broad daylight. His government was popularly described as "mamacracy" because it was his mother that was running the affairs of the State and not him. Let me hold it here as regards the abysmal failure of that regime.

In 2007 Chief T. A. Orji took over as Governor from a prison at Lagos, he was flown in to be sworn in. This man presided over the affairs of the State till 2015, there was no visible achievement of his government except pains, miserabilty and sorrow on the part of Abians. This man did not develope any infrastructure, he owed workers salary up-to a year, only for him to languish money on his political stooges that sings his praise at Umuahia, undoubtedly his administration was the worse, more like talk and die. Now in 2015 Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu took over, whom we all know is another rubber stamp (oh before I forget, Orji Uzo Kalu installed T. A. Orji as governor, so as to control him but the plan backfired when the latter refused to be controlled by the former, hence an imbroglio ensued). Dr. Okezie to an extent has performed somehow better than the previous two, however the truth remains that Abia state is in ruins, nothing is working therein, and nobody is speaking out for them.
By this piece implore Mazi Nnamdi kanu to liberate his state from the firm grip of T. A. Orji and Co. They say charity begins at home, he should take that to heart and do the needful, Abians are suffering because the state government does not care about their plight in anyway. Go to Afara MNKs hometown there is no good accessible road, every where is just lying in waste. He should liberate Abia State first, from his brothers then he can be taken seriously. That Abia State is not developed is not the fault of the zoo government like he addresses Nigeria, but his own kinsmen.
A word they say is enough for the wise.

If you and your sponsors had asked Buhari and Osibanjo to transform their states before promising to change Nigeria, we won't be here complaining of postponing an election 5 hours to kick off.

If I ask you now to show me the achievements of Buhari and Osibanjo in their verious communities not even states before you voted them in to change Nigeria, I am sure you'll resort to insults.

I think you must have mixed up what Nnamdi Kanu's agitation is all about. Nnamdi Kanu's agitation is about freedom and independence of Igbos, and other willing tribes, from Nigeria. His agitation is not about saving any state, it is about leaving Nigeria
