so I checked wikipedia for d "fragile state index" I typed failed state but got fragile state instead. Majority of d indicators there are endemic to africa n not only Nigeria, brain drain, political tension, corruption, religious or ethnic conflicts among others.

And yes, Nigeria was 14th on the list while kenya is listed as d 17th, can we call kenya a failed state too? I think d right word should be "fragile".

Another reason I don't take all these things serious, though it's meant to guide nations in discerning their policies in a judicious manner but most of them are always overboard.

check the political , economy and social index. we need to be careful so that we will not just be biased for nothing

USA is doing well both socially and economically but quite weak politically and hence cannot qualify for a fragile state.
