A young musician is lucky to be alive after he was attacked by unknown hoodlums on Sunday, February 17th (yesterday).

It was gathered that Abba Ajasun Waka, a well known Hausa musician for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa state, was stabbed multiple times by political thugs a day after he released his latest song titled "Sati Daya Yazo Ya Wuce", over the postponement of elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The young man was rushed to the hospital and is said to be responding to treatment.

A lot have died.

And a lot will die concerning this election, which ironically has not even held. Those firmly hooked along party lines should be very careful, as no political party,political cause or politician is worth dying for.

Those that died in both party rallies, we have even forgotten about them,and for starters we never even knew their names to begin with.

The family of the Politicians are safely in different foreign countries, waiting for the heat to blow over before they come back to Nigeria.

Let us be wise. Death will not be our portion.

Let us be vigilant and be prayerful.

I know too well that people had and are paying even the supreme price in their quest to express their feelings about this government. But that is also giving others the impetus to do even more - shout at the top of their voice.

It is our earnest prayer that God Almighty will come to our rescue and help Nigerians out of this situation.

For a well respected person that I thought u were before now... This is the best you can come up with? A party that preaches and inhibits violence? May God forgive ur 4D ignorance. Someone is gasping for his dear life irrespective of party and this is your most composed response. May God have mercy on the great wickedness in this nation. God is supreme and those that live by violence will die by violence.
