Yes sir, I want to start up my own farm for commercial . I want to start with 500 broiler and 500 layers, in Umuahai Abia State . Is starting up with a day old chicken best or what do you advise ? How many plots of land do you think will be suitable for 1000 birds?. I want to acquire my own load , and I am planing on digging a borehole on it . From your experience , how much do you think I should set aside for 1000 birds ?.

I will suggest you find time to go understudy a practising farmer for few months.

You can't do agriculture with online information. It's quite different from reality
