The information reaching this medium have it that some political thugs which was said to be working for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) attacked the campaign team of the Kwara South All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial candidate Hon. Lola Ashiru in Ojoku community of Kwara state, the hometown of the PDP Senatorial candidate Senator Rafiu Ibrahim Adebayo.

According to our source one person was killed while many sustained bullets injuries.

While trying to make further findings on the event another source said "We are under serious attack at ojoku now , we are locked up at olojoku's palace. Sporadic shooting everywhere but we can assure you that Ashiru is saved though, six of of our people are shot and one is dead at Offa General Hospital."

"All our vehicles have been vandalised we are waiting for the mopol contingents who are already on their way to clear those who laid ambush."
