Selling or No selling of NNPC is of less concern Since, it is no going area for ordinary citizens b4, can we name someone working in NNPC in our area or any govt massive recruitmt into NNPC,i and how many refineries working in Nigeria presently.we are exporting our crude oil. Presently u can't work in NNPC,MOBIL,NDDC and SHELL without belong to occultic grp. If shaking the table will make common Nigerians have access to NNPC. I support the motion. |

Is only expired people like Senator Godswill Akpabio that will listen to him. Anybody that's reasonable enough will check how NNPC is been managed. is a welcome development that they privatize nnpc. |

Somebody should note this this prediction.. 1) If Buhari wins this election, before 2021 he will sell NNPC. Its an uncommon idea given to them by Atiku. The likes of tinubu and co will make sure its sold to them. Their problem with Atiku is who he is selling it to.NNPC is as good as gone both ways. They are just playing politics with it now but the did has been done. If they condemned fuel subsidy and went through the back door to pay more in subsidy then selling NNPC is their collective wish. |

PresidoAtikuGcf:You tend to reason like a baby in diaper and reason from your anus! A kid you say? I am not a kid in anyway; I have worked and rub shoulder with some of the high and mighty in Nigeria for years where I have been able to get incite into several things/secret most Nigerians don't know about. Let me ask you, what is the total number of those working directly with NNPC as NNPC staff? Are you telling me that the tens of thousand are all from influential families? How many private company still base all their employment on competence? If you are not biased or playing funny; tell me how it will be easy for the Federal government to monitor and regulate the Companies NNPC will become? Employment, oil drilling, oil lifting and price fixing in ways that will benefit the masses? NEPA is one big example as the government who handles generation says it generate 7,000MW and the private distributors only take and distribute 5,000Wm but the private distributors are saying their is no 7,000MW! So tell me how NNPC case will be when sold as it generates more money? Let me ask you about what happened to all the state owned assets that were sold? Where are they today? How many Nigerians are in their employment? Do you know how many families that are suffering because of privatisation of state assets? Many bread winners have become beggars because it wasn't done with good intentions and Nigeria was not ripe for it then. Let me tell you that some of us may come from privileged families/homes but we tend to move away from them to struggle on our own so as to build our own brand and name. I am one of such people whom struggled on their own with GOD'S assistance and wife and kids support to get back up. I know what it is to be high up and suddenly some ministers/government who wanted to make money at the expense of the masses but discovered that one is not corrupt because I stood with the masses and did what was right for this country but they did all they can to get me out but thanks GOD that they are no more there and I am moving back up. Finally, i won't be able to tell you or anyone what I really heared from my late dad and the very high ranking Nigerians that I have worked or the one I am presently with about Nigeria but I will say that Buhari is a better option to Atiku. |

Rotimi47:Now you have proved me right that you are a kid in your reasoning. Just because you are fortunate to rub shoulders with the high and mighty in Nigeria for years shows where you are deriving your judgements from. The truth is that Nnpc has never worked for the common masses and selling it to locals is a right way to go. Incompetence would be booted out and all hands would be on deck to make it work. I make sense I don't write long rubbish. |

Ogecharm:lol NNPC may have a lot of rich families, but providing employment isnt the major function of nnpc. The nigerian economy is oil based and a good deal of that money come from nnpc, it is from there we pay worker, build infrastruture and get forex we use in trade. After atiku has sold it to his friends then nigeria will be unable to finance its budjet, there will be mass dismissal from civil service, forget about projects, with no way to get forex the naira will fall and become valueless so u can forget abt trade. I hope you guys understand what you are asking for? u will remove a bad president and bring in a demon to completely kill the country. |

LNG should serve as an example for Nigeria, it is making a lot of money for Nigeria and stakeholders but NNPC reaps where it doesn't sow with systemic corruption. |

PresidoAtikuGcf:Your case is a case of someone who don't know but he or she thinks he/she knows! I asked you questions which you are unable to answer and all you keep coming up is that NNPC have never worked! ![]() It pains to go through write-up that is illogical and at the same time subjective. As per your mediocrity which is evident in you analysis; Let me state NNPC has the sole responsibility for upstream and downstream developments, and is also charged with regulating and supervising the Oil industry on behalf of the Federal government. The above is different from the employment issue you keep Ponting out as if all the thousands working for NNPC are from influential families! So tell me how the budget is being financed if NNPC have failed? I will appreciate if you also tell me how the Oil and Gas industry have been thriving if NNPC is a failure? Please note that I do not base my judgement on hear say but by checking and finding out facts. Nigeria is not a cash cow for someone and their cronies! Some people who's business didn't pay tax for 30years! Please note that I have been into shipping, aviation and now Oil and Gas. I have been at the senior federal level as well. I have had much and also at one point in time had nothing apart fro GOD, my wife, kids and very few people. I have seen and tasted both side of life and as such have better judgement than most people who only tasted one side which is either good or bad side. Let me finally say that I have a better judgement than most people due to my experience and interaction with the young, my age group, those older than me, the high and the very low. |
