A video has gone viral on social media whereby a high ranked Nigerian policeman (M. Adamu) made a statement that if you are a Nigerian and you are 25years old upwards, still staying in your parents house then you are a failure in life.

Nigerians were not happy with this statement and they blasted him

He's correct[to an extent]but not all fingers are equal.

This policeman is idle. He needs more cases on his table.

If a jobless over-25 person follow his advice and steal a g-string pant to make money and leave his parent's house, he will turn around and arrest him.

And out of your quick and shallow thinking you think somebody who is 25 still living with his parent is a waste ba?

And in the same breath you think we have the same exposure, same background, same thinking, same parenting,same cultural influences to come to such preposterous conclusion?

This only revealed how uncritical most of you are in your thinking. You are just good at parroting people's idea because it is "popular " without thinking it through for yourself.

Let everyone speak for himself. The sad reality is not everyone can be living without their parents at 25 or more; and not everyone has the ability to discern issues at the magic and deceptive age of 18.

All I am saying is, everyone should follow his pattern of development without foisting or psychologically bullying people to accept whatever warped standards they are presenting.
