A Federal High Court has ruled that Air Vice
Marshal Isaac Alfa won the 2015 Kogi East
senatorial seat
- The cout ordered the current senator representing
the district, Atai Aidoko, to vacate the seat
- The Senate president was ordered by the court to
immediately swear-in Alfa into the senatorial seat
A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday, February
21, has asked Senator Atai Aidoko representing Kogi
East senatorial district to vacate his seat at the
National Assembly for Air Vice Marshal Isaac Alfa
(rtd).
The court ruled that Alfa is the winner of the 2015
Kogi East senatorial seat and ordered his immediate
swearing-in as the Kogi East senator by Senate
President Bukola Saraki.
Daily Trust reports that Justice Anwuli Chikere struck
out the application by Senator Aidoko seeking for a
review of the earlier judgement.
The judgement for Aidoko to vacate the senatorial seat
for Alfa came two days to the 2019 presidential and
National Assembly elections.
Meanwhile Legit.ng earlier reported that Ahmed
Ogembe, the senator representing Kogi Central on
Friday, February 15, survived an auto crash along the
Abuja-Lokoja road on his way to Okene.
Duke Opeyemi, Ogembe's special adviser on media and
publicity disclosed this in a telephone interview in
Lokoja.

omo naija.... since 2015 na now 2019 court the finish case when the 4year tenure is almost over. but i knw he can recover all the money he spent during the whole saga in one senate sitting
