The value of currency in circulation in Nigeria was 1.668 trillion Naira which is about 4.4 billion when converted to US dollars (2018,March).

The value of the Kenyan shilling in circulation was 262.4 billion shillings which is about 2.6 billion US dollars ( June 2018).

What does it really mean?

Are this figures able to tell us something or they are a bit useless?

The more the money circulates in the economy is the more income levels and reserves we have therefore it's of much importance to the economic growth since it encourages spread of economic wealth in the country and by this more investors both locals and foreigners will develop further interests to venture into various ripe investments like real estate,ICT,hospitality and tourism,retail,agriculture etc.

It is a big shame what is happening to your beautiful ethiopia when I stayed in ethiopia about 5 years ago in the capital city addis ababa it was just like eastern europe I was shocked to see how developed the city is. The country was so peaceful when I was there. I wish the problems from somalia and tribalism is not finding their way into ethiopia. I could not believe it with my two eyes I stayed in ethiopia for four months and they did not take electricity for even a second I was very impressed with the country. Also the size of the airport is huge I was really shocked to see a big airport.

Unlike Nigeria by the year 2030 less than 5% of Kenyans will living in extreme poverty and 15% below poverty line

While in Nigeria, there will be over 50% extreme poverty incidences and over 85% living below poverty line
