Senate president Bukola Saraki has reportedly fled Ilorin in the wake of the election collation in Kwara.

Saraki whose party, the PDP is faced with losses in the early results trickling from various polling units and wards across the state is the party leader and the DG of Atiku campaign organization.

The APC gathered lots of support and momentum in the state after he left the party for the PDP last year along with top political bigwigs in the state. The party soon became unpopular among the populace with the introduction of the OTOGE (Enough is Enough) campaign mantra by the APC.

One of his top aides who do not want to be mentioned confided in this medium that “the leader” as he is fondly called has quietly left the state and complained bitterly that he left his political troops, wondering what’s next after this massive defeat.
