If u served in Jos u should know Jos is a volatile state. Jos is just like Nigeria. Too many ethnic group inside that one state. Even within a local government. Jos has soany minority tribes always agitating for one thing or d other. Am talking of core Hausa states like Sokoto, kebbi, Katsina etc
I know of all the tribes bro. But Hausa's are trying to take over and control Jos. The general language there is Hausa. I hope you know.

The only possible way to own that state is by being at the helm in the most important local govt in Jos town. Hausa's are too thirsty for power bro. You had peace because they were winning convincingly.

Same happened in 2015. I was observing my Service year in the north in 2015 where I participated in the election as a presiding officer Manning 2 polling units side by side.

Prior to the election one of my uncles was calling that I boycott the election and come down here to Lagos till after election cos of the expected violence by the Hausas. I eventually didn't travel and stayed put.

The election wás very very peaceful. I learnt something about the Hausas which most people who haven't lived among them won't tell u. Hausas may be religious extremist, double faced hypocrites when it comes to sexual discourse and all....But Hausas like people being straight and honest. Once u don't try to manipulate the election and insult the results, they won't have issues with u. I made the voting process and counting of results so transparent that both the winning party and the losing party hailed the conduct of the polls in the unit. Same report I got from other friends in the same ward.

The funniest thing, down here in the south was war. There was gun fight in my area in Lagos between the two parties few days to election. Even my uncle in rivers state who was urging me to leave the north then was unable to go out on election day due to wike and Amaechi wàhálà back then.

We southerners in general need to really work on ourselves
And we will be hearing north this north that. If we say the cause of the war in Lagos is tribalism, what can we say is the cause of the one in Rivers? Are they not of same tribe? We're very foolish abeg

I don't love or hate anyone... What I hate is incompetence regardless the party and what I desire is quality living for the average Nigerian as should everyone!
And people who support Buhari don't desire quality living Abi? Oga leave people to support whomever they please and stop insulting opposition supporters.

Instead of focusing on the political nature of the disruptions we had quite a lot of Igbo people and outrage merchants turning it into Yorubas attacking Igbos narrative. It's pathetic

I saw the tweets and I was amazed. Like I was underestimating the number of unintelligent people we have in this country. I won't be surprised if those fools don't stay in Lagos, or have never stepped into Lagos before. Now some idiots from SW have joined them in singing their own war song

Bros, I maintain the problem in Plateau is too many tribes forcefully fitted into one state. Different tribes with different cultures and traditions.

My best friend during nysc is from that sate(I won't mention his tribe). We were having a general discussion amongst us in the evening one day and the guy told us in their tribe during any of those crisis they usually have, if they are victorious either tru striking first or carrying out reprisal attacks, as a sign of victory you will taste out of the flesh of Ur enemy. We were all shocked despite having people of diverse cultures amongst us; it was a cultural shock for us. I then asked him right there if he had tasted human meat and he answered yes with a straight face. (This guy is a straightforeward person and doesn't lie).

We were appalled, but that was his culture. This is what has been his way of life. Today that guy is a lecturer, but am very sure He hasn't thrown away his culture and won't hesitate to sponsor ethnic cleansing against any of the other tribes even over a land dispute.

That Hausas are part of the problem there but definitely not the only ones. So many of those tribes are as deadly as the Hausas.

I really don't know what wike and Amaechi want. They have both attained an height most people will only dream of till death; one a sitting governor, the other an ex governor.

I don't blame them sha, I blame the stupid people doing their bidding.

No surprises, it was coming because they set him up for failure. They are exaggerating their strength in the EPL and I will not be shocked if they battle relegation next season. Maybe they can hire Wenger to give them the attractive football they are looking for.

In a state with numerous tribes and different languages, what's the general language there? Yeah, they speak pidgin but Hausa is a common language you hear from almost every one that can't communicate in English/pidgin.

Ahh forget it! a large number of these guys stay in Lagos and most are educated. It's outrage p0rrn.

We have some South West people too who are clout chasers, ambulance lawyers who try to overcompensate by appearing to side with the supposed victim. It's all eye service
