1970? ... that is absolutely false. First of all I doubt if there were any streetlights in Nigerian cities in 1970 looking like those, even in the europe and America, secondly, the picture will surely be in black and white and from that elevation, tell me they stood on a groundnut pyramid to take that and I will believe in the unicorn.... Finally that white looking highrise building you see in the background is the Headoffice of the defunct Bank of the North (now Unity Bank). Can't remember the exact year it was built but I witnessed its construction, the movement of some of the offices from Ado Bayero Road and used to go visit my aunt on the 7th floor. Surely this cannot be 1970. More like early eighties, probably 81 to 83. 2 Likes |

StupidInyamiri: North, a region of unity and self respect A region of contentment and selflessness The Colonial masters saw the good in us that's why they prioritized us, goats and pigs like you were perceived as loosers since the 1900s It pains us to share a country with supporters of theft and greed, Nnamdi cownu is a hero.
