Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC) on Sunday said former President Olusegun Obasanjo will be silenced forever politically after the 2019 general elections.

President Muhammadu Buhari defeated Atiku Abaubakar, his main challenger, at the polling unit of Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital, on Saturday.

While the All Progressives Congress (APC) secured 87 votes in the presidential election, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got just 18 votes.

Obasanjo is backing Atiku in the presidential election.

Speaking with Daily Independent, Sagay said Buhari’s victory at Obasanjo’s polling unit is a foretelling of what will happen to Obasanjo after the election

“Buhari’s victory at Obasanjo’s polling unit is a foretelling of the rout that is coming. It shows you that Obasanjo is with himself alone. He has no following anywhere in Nigeria”.

“I have said it before that Obasanjo is going to be demystified in this election. Politically, he is going to be buried in this presidential election. After this eletion, we won’t hear from him again. His arrogance and overbearing nature has just been too much for this polity” he said.

Hehehe. Obasanjo is being retired and for that, I'm very happy. Obasanjo has never been a political force. Dude was only lucky to align with the the right forces. Obasanjo was never a factor in Buhari's 2015 electoral success. Before you'll talk about 2007, don't forget how flawed that election was.... In 2011, Jonathan had momentum and he only aligned with the winning team. Unfortunately for him and fortunately for Nigerians, he miscalculated this time.

Atiku is a looser already, he can only win election in Biafra republic.
